Welcome to the Human Rights And Justice Organization (HRJO). The purpose of HRJO is to promote the fair and humane treatment of people and the families of people who become subject to the various justice systems around the world. This includes both the victims of crime, those accused of crimes, those incarcerated for crimes and ex-offenders.
The organization actively advocates and promotes access to justice for victims of crime, those who are under investigation, on trial, or accused of crimes and for humane treatment of those that are found guilty, those in prison and people who have been released form prison. HRJO works with government, judiciary, law enforcement officers, citizens, those accused, prisoners and victims to educate and promote fairness, healing and humanitarian treatment of all parties that are exposed to any system of justice. HRJO performs its functions through investigation, research, publication of studies, promotional events, direct intervention and education of officers and the public.
The HRJO has a long term project to create a basic set of standards and guidelines that can be adopted by the United Nations in order to measure the access to justice, fairness and human treatment of anyone who becomes subjected to the justice system of any country including victims, the accused, those who are convicted and those under corrections control. The intended use of this system will be to assist in determining if there are any human rights violations inherent in the justice systems of any country and to help cure any problems that may exist and lead to human rights violations.
